Steal an Egg Base Defense: How Getting Robbed Works

Is stealing the egg the only risk, or does delivery matter too?

Delivery is its own risk. Getting an egg out of a nest past its Guardian is only half the job — while you’re carrying it back, rival players can tackle and intercept you to take the egg before you reach base. This works both ways: you can do the same to other players carrying valuable eggs. The rarer the egg, the more likely someone tries to take it off you mid-run.

What protects my base once eggs are delivered?

Your Security Defense Wall. A weak wall leaves your base open to being raided by other players even after you’ve successfully delivered eggs and started hatching them — it’s a separate upgrade track from Treadmill Speed, and skipping it means your stockpile stays exposed no matter how good you are at avoiding Guardians.

How should I prioritize base defense against other upgrades?

Treat it as parallel to Treadmill spending, not secondary to it. Speed gets you into better biomes; the Security Defense Wall protects what you bring back from them. A high-Speed account with a weak wall can still lose everything to a raid, which makes wall upgrades worth budgeting for alongside — not after — your Speed goals.

What can I do offensively?

The same PvP layer that puts you at risk also works in your favor: distraction and troll equipment can be used to intercept other players’ deliveries or pressure their bases, the same way you might be targeted. It’s a symmetric system — assume any egg you’re carrying is a target the moment you leave a nest.
